SERVICE BULLETIN
Detachable magazines designed for use in X-Bolt rifles chambered in 300 Win. Mag. may experience feeding issues when used with certain types of 300 Win. Mag. ammunition. The affected magazines were sold between August, 2019 and May, 2020 and were either included with the purchase of your X-Bolt rifle (chambered in 300 Win. Mag. only) or may have been purchased separately as spare or replacement magazines.
To determine whether your magazine is affected by this Service Bulletin, please look carefully at the inscription on the right side of your magazine. If your magazine contains a distinct border around the inscription “Long Magnum” as shown in Figure 1, it is subject to this Service Bulletin and should be returned to Browning. These magazines were available in black (Figure 1), Burnt Bronze Cerakote (Figure 2) and Tungsten Cerakote (Figure 3). If your magazine does not contain a distinct border (Figure 4 and Figure 5), or if your magazine contains a distinct border around the inscription 'Long Magnum', but also contains a dot (Figure 6) or dash (Figure 7) after the word 'Long', your magazine should function properly and is not subject to this Service Bulletin.

IMPORTANT: We will only use the information that you provide below to communicate with you about your replacement request, which we will do primarily by email if you provide an email address. The information you provide will not be used for other purposes, including but not limited to marketing purposes. The information you provide will not be sold, nor will it be provided to others, except as necessary to replace your magazine.
INSTRUCTIONS: Please provide the required information in the Submission Form below. You must complete a separate Submission Form for each magazine that you are returning for replacement. A new replacement magazine will be promptly shipped to you, along with a postage pre-paid return envelope to be used to return the affected magazine.
